ClaaroPlan is an application for family organization. The app is provided as a native Android application. Personal data is only processed to the extent necessary to provide the app's features.
ClaaroPlan uses Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) for user sign-in. This involves processing login data (e.g. email address). This processing is carried out to fulfill the usage agreement.
Firebase Firestore and/or the Firebase Realtime Database are used to store and sync family and planning data. The stored data includes planning content entered by the user (e.g. appointments, tasks, shopping lists, recipes, notes).
ClaaroPlan uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send push notifications, provided the user has enabled this feature and granted the corresponding permissions.
ClaaroPlan may use Firebase Remote Config to adjust app configurations remotely, without requiring an app update. No personal data in the strict sense is transmitted in this process; however, technical device information may be processed.
If the user enables the Google Calendar integration, ClaaroPlan accesses the Google Calendar API with the user's explicit permission. Calendar data is processed exclusively for displaying and managing appointments within the app. This data is not passed on to third parties.
ClaaroPlan uses Firebase Crashlytics to detect, analyze, and fix crashes and technical errors in the app. In particular, the following data may be processed:
This processing serves the secure and stable operation of the app.
ClaaroPlan uses Firebase Cloud Functions to provide server-side functionality. Data required to carry out a function triggered by the user may be processed server-side. This processing is carried out solely to provide the respective app feature.
ClaaroPlan offers optional AI features. These are only executed upon active user action. When a user uses such a feature, the content entered for it is transmitted to and processed by the Anthropic API. This may include, in particular:
Anthropic states, for its commercial products, that inputs and outputs are not used by default to train its models. Data is not automatically transmitted to Anthropic through mere use of the app.
Insofar as ClaaroPlan offers calendar features and the user grants permissions for them, calendar data is only processed to the extent necessary to provide the feature being used, such as displaying, creating, or editing appointments.
Recipients of personal data may include technical service providers, insofar as this is necessary to provide the app:
Google Firebase / Google CloudAnthropic API (only with active AI use)
Depending on the technical setup, processing may also take place outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, processing is carried out only within the framework of applicable data protection requirements.
Personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the respective purposes, or until the user deletes the data themselves or discontinues use. For external service providers such as Google Firebase or Anthropic, their respective technical and contractual retention rules also apply in addition.
In accordance with applicable law, data subjects have, in particular, the right to:
Requests can be directed to:
Users can delete data within the app themselves or remove existing connections and stored content, insofar as the app technically supports this. Privacy-related requests can be submitted by email at any time.
The data processed in ClaaroPlan is never sold and never used for personalized advertising, unless explicitly stated otherwise within the app.
